My Journey as Runner-Up Miss Kidzania Jakarta 2022

It has been an incredible journey for me to be a part of Miss Kidzania Jakarta 2022. As a runner-up, I am still feeling thrilled and grateful for the experience. Let me share with you my journey in this blog post.

The Competition

Miss Kidzania Jakarta is a bi-yearly event held by Kidzania, a theme park that blends education and entertainment for children. The competition was open to Indonesian girls aged 6 to 13 years old. It consisted of three rounds: the top 50, the semifinals, and the grand finals.

To participate, I had to register online and submit a portrait photo series, my biography, and my achievements. From over 4,000 applications, the judges chose 50 contestants for the first round, 24 contestants for the semifinals, and 12 contestants for the grand finals.

The Challenges

The competition was tough, and every contestant had to show their talent and abilities. In the first round, I had to perform a talent in front of the judges and draw a picture. In the semifinals, all the girls performed together in a runway and musical theater show. We also had to answer questions from the judges individually.

For the grand finals, the top 12 contestants repeated the same process as the semifinals but on a bigger stage. The competition was intense, and we were all nervous and tired because we had to attend classes every day before the show.

The Experience

Despite the challenges, the experience was unforgettable. When I was chosen to be in the top 50, I joined a public speaking class privately for two weeks. It helped me to improve my public speaking skills and confidence.

One of my favorite parts of the competition was the study tour with the finalists to the Safari Garden. We had a lot of fun together, and it was an excellent opportunity for us to bond.

The Result

When the competition ended, I was overjoyed. I never expected to go that far in the competition. The other contestants were talented girls, and it was an honor to be among them.

As the runner-up, I was entitled to be the brand ambassador for Kidzania and attend any event in Kidzania for the next two years. I also received winning money, vouchers, and other prizes.

The Takeaway

The competition has given me a better understanding of leadership and the importance of having a good attitude. It has also taught me about the value of hard work and perseverance.

Moreover, winning the competition has helped me to become more confident, and it has opened doors for me to pursue other interests. People now know me as a model and a singer, which is something that I never imagined before.

In conclusion, being the runner-up of Miss Kidzania Jakarta 2022 has been a remarkable journey for me. I am grateful for the experience, and I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams and passions, just as I did.
